Faster follow-up after contract approval

Automatic Contract Approval Notifications in Moo Software

In fast-moving dairy trading environments, timing matters. That is why Moo Software now automatically sends an email notification to the assigned trader as soon as a contract has received its final approval.

This improvement removes the need for manual follow-up between approvers and traders and helps contracts move faster from approval to customer communication.

What changed

Previously, traders often had to manually check whether a contract had been approved or wait for confirmation from a colleague.

With this update, Moo Software automatically detects when all required approvals are completed and immediately notifies the assigned trader by email.

In addition, this functionality is already being expanded further. Future updates will also make approval notifications and approval statuses visible directly inside the system itself, giving users even more insight into the approval workflow.

How it works

  1. An approver authorizes the contract.
  2. Moo Software verifies that all required approvals are completed.
  3. The system automatically sends a notification to the assigned trader.
  4. The trader receives confirmation that the contract is approved and ready to be sent out.

Who this affects

This applies to contracts that use approval workflows within Moo Software. Notifications are sent to the trader linked to the contract once the final approval has been completed.

Store important documents directly on the Lot

Lot Attachments for Better Traceability

Moo Software now supports attachments directly on Lots. Users can store important documents — such as quality certificates, delivery notes, laboratory reports, or other supporting files — directly on the related Lot record.

For dairy and plant-based ingredient traders, this helps keep critical documentation connected to the right batch or shipment at all times.

Why this matters

Keeping documents attached to the Lot improves traceability, reduces time spent searching for files, and helps teams work more efficiently when handling quality checks, customer requests, or audits.

All relevant information stays organized in one place and remains accessible throughout the trading and logistics process.
