Moo Software now tracks manufacturers on contracts and orders

Moo Software now makes it easier to keep track of where a product was actually produced and whether that manufacturer is approved by your supplier or customer.

Why is this important?

In dairy ingredient trading, it is not always enough to know which product you are buying or selling. The plant where the product was manufactured can be just as important.

A supplier may produce the same product at several different plants, while a customer may only accept products from specific, pre-approved locations. This can be important for traceability, certifications such as kosher, halal or organic, or export requirements such as GACC approval for China.

What’s new?

You can now:

• Select the manufacturer on contracts and orders, including deliveries from your own stock.
• Include the manufacturer’s address details and UBN in documents, reports and planning.
• Register approved manufacturers for each relation and product, for both suppliers and customers.
• Receive a warning when the manufacturer selected on a contract or order does not match the registered approval.

Moo Software will not block the transaction. You can still continue, but the warning helps you spot a possible mismatch before it becomes a problem.
