Mastering the Document Designer (Webinar – English)
In our previous webinar, many of you told us you’d like to see a clearer, more practical “how-to” approach. We listened.
That’s why this session includes a simple, step-by-step walkthrough: we’ll build a document template together from scratch, so you can immediately see how everything fits.
In this webinar, we’ll show you how to create and customize professional document templates—such as invoices, contracts, orders, and order confirmations—using the Document Designer. We’ll keep the examples easy to follow and accessible for everyone: a few practical settings, clear explanations, and no deep technical or programming-heavy content.
More advanced use cases will be documented afterwards, so you can follow them at your own pace.
What we will cover
1. Introduction & Key Benefits
Learn how the Document Designer helps you improve flexibility, branding, and automation—without making your documents complicated.
2. Designing Your Layout (drag & drop basics)
We’ll show how to work with common building blocks such as text, images, tables, and sections, and how to structure a document in a clean, professional way.
3. Step-by-step live build: a complete document template
Together, we’ll create a simple, branded document (for example an order confirmation) in a clear, logical order—similar to how we built a basic planning overview in the Planning webinar.
You’ll see how we add:
- an address section
- a document title
- a product table (product, quantity, packaging, etc.)
- notes / remarks
- a footer
4. Simple conditions & print settings (kept practical)
Once the basic template is ready, we’ll show a few straightforward examples of conditional behavior (e.g., when to show or hide a field) and cover key print preferences—only the essentials, explained in plain language.
Takeaway
After this webinar, you’ll understand the core building blocks of the Document Designer and how to create a clean, branded document template step by step. If you want to go further, we’ll provide additional documentation with more advanced examples afterwards.
